**RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT**
(FOR PARTICIPANTS OVER THE AGE OF MAJORITY – 18+)

Please read carefully before signing.
1. Agreement and Parties
This is a binding legal agreement. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily as a Participant in cycling-related activities, events, programs, races, group rides, training sessions, and related activities organized, operated, conducted, or sanctioned by B1 Gruppo Inc. and its member clubs (collectively, the “Organization”).
The Organization includes its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, members, ride leaders, agents, and representatives.
2. Assumption of Risks
I acknowledge that participation in cycling is inherently dangerous and involves significant risks, including the risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death.
I freely and voluntarily ASSUME ALL RISKS arising out of, associated with, or related to my participation in the activities of the Organization, whether such risks are known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, including risks arising from the ordinary negligence of the Organization.
3. Risks Include, Without Limitation
I understand that risks include, but are not limited to:

Road, track, gravel, mountain bike, cyclocross, BMX, and group cycling activities

Physical exertion, fatigue, dehydration, overexertion, or medical events

Mounting, dismounting, loss of control, falls, and collisions

Contact with other participants, pedestrians, vehicles, animals, spectators, or fixed objects

Road and trail conditions, traffic, weather, visibility, and environmental hazards

Equipment failure, improper fit, or misuse of bicycles or safety equipment

Travel to and from events and activities
I acknowledge that injuries may be severe and may occur despite reasonable precautions.
4. Participant Responsibilities
I confirm that:
a. I am physically and medically fit to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional;
b. I understand and will follow all applicable rules, guidelines, and instructions of the Organization;
c. I accept sole responsibility for my personal safety and conduct;
d. I will immediately discontinue participation if I observe unsafe conditions or feel unfit to continue.
5. Release and Waiver of Claims
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby WAIVE, RELEASE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE the Organization from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, or losses that I have or may have in the future arising out of or related to my participation, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Organization.
This release applies to claims for personal injury, death, property damage, loss of income, or other loss.
6. Indemnity
I agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Organization from any claims brought by third parties arising from my participation or conduct during activities, to the extent permitted by law.
7. No Release for Prohibited Conduct
Nothing in this Agreement releases the Organization from liability for intentional misconduct or other conduct that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
8. Privacy, Code of Conduct, and Ride Guidelines
I agree to comply with the Organization’s Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, and Ride Guidelines, as amended from time to time.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
10. Electronic Execution
I acknowledge that this Agreement may be executed electronically. By registering for an event and selecting “I Agree”, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
11. Binding Effect
This Agreement is binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives.
Failure to properly complete this waiver may result in participation being denied or membership being void.
